Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Advance Wiring website and the electrical services we provide to homeowners and businesses in Round Rock, TX and the Greater Austin area. By requesting an estimate, scheduling work, or using our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

01About Advance Wiring

Advance Wiring is a family-run electrical company based in Round Rock, Texas, led by Tom. We provide residential and commercial electrical services including lighting installation, panel upgrades, EV charger installation, wiring and rewiring, and audio/video system installation across Round Rock, North Austin, Georgetown, Leander, Cedar Park, and Liberty Hill.

02Estimates and Pricing

We offer free estimates for most electrical projects. An estimate is our good-faith assessment of the work required and the expected cost based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may differ if conditions change once work begins — for example, if concealed wiring, code issues, or additional repairs are discovered behind walls or in the panel.

Any estimate we provide is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Written approval of an estimate or quote constitutes your agreement to the scope and price described. We will always communicate changes before proceeding with additional work.

03Scheduling and Appointments

We pride ourselves on arriving on time, and we ask that you provide reasonable access to the work area and accurate information about your electrical needs. If you need to reschedule, please notify us as early as possible so we can offer the slot to another customer.

04Scope of Work and Permits

All electrical work is performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable local Round Rock and Central Texas regulations. Where required, we obtain the necessary permits and arrange inspections. You are responsible for ensuring we have access for inspectors and for any permit-related requirements specific to your property or HOA.

05Payment Terms

Payment terms for each project are agreed upon before work begins and are outlined in your estimate or quote. Larger projects may require a deposit, with the balance due upon completion. Accepted payment methods will be specified at the time of scheduling. Invoices are due within the timeframe stated on the invoice unless other arrangements are made in advance.

06Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our workmanship. We address issues related to our installation at no additional cost within the warranty period agreed upon for your project. Manufacturer warranties on fixtures, panels, chargers, and other equipment are passed through to you and are subject to each manufacturer's terms. Our workmanship warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modifications by others, or events outside our control such as storms or power surges.

07Liability

Advance Wiring carries appropriate insurance for the work we perform. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any single project is limited to the amount paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from electrical work or use of this website.

08Website Use
